Dharma Kings
Dharma Kings
The Austin, Texas band Dharma Kings, is fueled by equal parts tequila and testosterone. Their aggressive sound is forged from many musical styles: Doom, Metal, Rock, Punk and eyewitness realism.

They've shared the stage with Ace Frehley, Cypress Hill, Stryper, LA Guns, Lynch Mob, Flock of Seagulls, Faster Pussycat, Bullet Boys, Grim Reaper, Dangerous Toys, and Puddle of Mudd to name a few. Dharma Kings have been featured on stages at numerous Texas outdoor festivals including Batfest, ROT Rally and the Heart of Texas Rockfest.
Pushmonkey
Pushmonkey
Pushmonkey is a rock band from Austin, Texas. The band's style is a mixture of heavy rock styles from 1960's through the modern millennia. A common characteristic of most songs is the melodic chorus. Occasionally the band dabbles in other styles of music with good results, and they are not afraid to try anything.
Dirty Wormz
Dirty Wormz
diRTy WoRMz were formulated, plotted and instigated in the year 2001. The band was the brainchild of Smackola and DJ Crash, hip hop artists who wanted to rock harder and louder than anything Austin, TX had ever seen. The legend began with the release of the first diRTy WORMz CD, The Infektion. Featuring an all star lineup from the local rock and hip hop communities, The Infektion was a regional best seller for years to come.

diRTy WoRMz quickly evolved into one of the most devastating live acts in Texas, leaving scores of scorched musicians in their wake. dWz was voted Austin's Best Hip Hop act two years running, won Best Urban Video for their cover of Run-DMC's "Here We Go", and the single "Top Of The Food Chain" was the year's top local request on Austin's 101X.

After mashing up and WoRMin' out the hip hop hits on The diRTy WoRMz MixXxTape, and recording the story on the DVDs The Epidemik and Tha Epidemik Viral Download One, diRTy WoRMz stands alone with their 2006 release, The Parazite. The new CD is the latest refinement of the WoRMz sound: Rap, Rock, Hip Hop like you've never heard before.
Broken Teeth
Broken Teeth
TWENTY YEARS AFTER SEIZING POWER IN AUSTIN, TEXAS, ROCK-ROLL BATTERING SQUAD BROKEN TEETH IS POISED TO THROW ITS HARDEST PUNCH EVER AFTER SIGNING WITH MEGADETH BASSIST DAVID ELLEFSON AND FORMER CORPORATE PUNISHMENT PRESIDENT THOM HAZAERT AT THEIR POWERHOUSE EMP LABEL GROUP. THE LABEL WILL ISSUE BROKEN TEETH’S NEW ALBUM 4 ON THE FLOOR IN APRIL 2017.

"THOM AND I BOTH HAVE A LOT OF HISTORY WITH JASON (MCMASTER), AND WE ARE BOTH HUGE FANS OF DANGEROUS TOYS AND WATCHTOWER. HE IS ONE OF THE GREATEST AND MOST VERSATILE HARD ROCK VOCALISTS AROUND, AND THAT IS DEFINITELY SHOWCASED IN BROKEN TEETH. WE ARE EXTREMELY PROUD TO WELCOME THEM TO THE EMP FAMILY, AND RELEASE THEIR KILLER NEW ALBUM."

“OBVIOUSLY, WE HAVE THE UTMOST RESPECT FOR DAVE AS BOTH A MUSICIAN AND PROMOTER OF HARD ROCK MUSIC,” SAID BROKEN TEETH VOCALIST JASON MCMASTER. “I HAVE SOME HISTORY WITH DAVE AND THOM, AND COULDN’T BE HAPPIER TO JOIN FORCES WITH THEM AS WE PREPARE TO UNLEASH THE LATEST CHAPTER OF BROKEN TEETH MUSIC.”

ONCE DESCRIBED AS “A PISSED-OFF AC/DC,” BROKEN TEETH HAS EVOLVED INTO A HARD-ROCK/HEAVY METAL BOMB BLAST BUILT ON THE SWAGGERING BOOGIE OF BAD-BOY BLUES. NOT SURPRISINGLY, 4 ON THE FLOOR CONTINUES THE BAND’S GRITTY LEGACY WITH ODES TO THE REBELLIOUS, FORBIDDEN LOVE OF ROCK-N-ROLL (THE SLOW-STOMPING “SINFUL”); STANDING PROUD AS A LONER ( THE RIOTOUS BURNER, “HOUSE OF DAMNATION”); LIFE ON THE ROCK-N-ROLL HIGHWAY TO HELL (THE BLUESY SHUFFLE OF “BORROWED TIME”); AND THE ULTIMATE SALUTE TO LEGENDARY MOTORHEAD MAIN MAN, LEMMY KILMISTER (THE APPROPRIATELY ROLLICKING “NEVER DEAD,” WHICH WAS WRITTEN BEFORE LEMMY’S PASSING).

“WE DON’T REALLY DO TRIBUTES, BUT LEMMY AND THE KIND OF ROCK-N-ROLL HE DID IS WHAT WE’RE ALL ABOUT,” SAID BROKEN TEETH GUITARIST JARED TUTEN. “IT JUST FELT RIGHT FOR BROKEN TEETH TO IMMORTALIZE HIM FOREVER.”
Meyvn
Meyvn
Meyvn is pure power/progressive metal from the heart of Texas. Meyvn combines stunning musicianship with memorable hooks and unconventional ideas to create an original sound that has captured the attention of metalheads and music lovers worldwide.

November 20, 2011 - MEYVN's first rehearsal with everyone reunited! The music came together easily, and the band sounds as if they'd been apart 4 months instead of 4 years!

On September 17, 2011, Rick, Drew, Jon, Ken and Reuben met up to discuss a possible future for the band. It was the first time all 5 had been in the same place together in almost 4 years . . .

The band started in the summer of 2003 when guitarist Drew Creel and keyboardist Charles Shultz met drummer Brad Olson, and started writing material together. They produced a three song demo called "Introduction" (which contained instrumental versions of Revolution, Cadence, and Last Rites) and began hunting for more band members. They quickly found bassist Ken Liao and vocalist Richard Clark, but then ended up parting ways with keyboardist Charles. Thus the first lineup was formed, and the band began working on more songs. By the summer of 2004 the first EP "Last Rites" was completed, and the band began playing shows all over Texas.

In March of 2005 guitarist Jon Simpson joined the band, bringing a whole new level of power and depth to the band's sound. Over the rest of the year the band built up quite a following at their live shows and earned several awards, including "Best Austin Band Overall" in the Edge Magazine's Best of Austin 2005 poll and "#4 Best Metal Band" in the Austin Chronicle's Best of Austin 2005 poll.

Toward the end of 2005 Meyvn began work on recording their first full-length album "Splintered Skies", and in March of 2006 they released it at the Heart of Texas Quadruple Bypass Festival. The album caught the attention of several record labels, and in June of 2006 Meyvn signed with KillZone Records for one album. "Splintered Skies" was re-released in September with a bonus track and extra artwork for worldwide distribution, and the critics loved it!

Near the end of 2006 Meyvn parted ways with Brad Olson, and brought onboard drummer extrodinaire Reuben Posey. Reuben brought fresh, new ideas and inspiration to the table, and the band began writing new material for a followup to "Splintered Skies".

In July 2007 Meyvn performed at TexasMadfest, a progressive metal festival in Houston, Texas, USA.

On October 7th, 2007 Meyvn performed at the prestigious ProgPower Europe progressive metal festival in Baarlo, Netherlands. In Decemeber of that year, guitarist Jon Simpson left the band.

In 2008, Meyvn decided to continue on as a four piece and played a few shows, including opening for Gary Howie. In May, guitarist Drew Creel decided to leave the band. The remaining members looked for a new guitar player for a short while, but then decided to call it quits. Meyvn had disbanded.
Freebleeder
Freebleeder
Go to the corner store, buy the cheapest beer you can find, shake the Hell out of it, then pop the top. What comes out is Freebleeder from Austin Texas. One part punk, one part rock, and one part metal, and three parts drunk. Catchy songs and an energetic live set have begun to provide a buzz throughout the mighty State of Texas. Drink and Destroy.
Three33
Three33
Hailing from Austin, Texas, Three33 delivers anthemic driving rock that will have you dancing in the aisle with your fists in the air. The band’s debut album “The Ugly Side of True” was released in 2013 and has been listed on several local Austin DJ’s favorite releases of the year chart.

Together the group brings together a unique blend of styles and influences that will soon be heard in their latest (and first with the current lineup) collaboration with the Rock Army Records released single “Bounce or Break”.

A plethora of unbound potential awaits this group. Keep an eye and an ear out for the band to start making some serious waves around the Texas region and beyond.
